Zombie 5K

Enjoy an autumn day in beautiful Long Valley! Walk, run or stroll the 5K course where zombies roam. A perfect outing for adults, students and families – come in costume if you dare. Prizes will be awarded for best costume in individual and family categories.

All proceeds benefit the Long Valley First Aid Squad in its mission to serve the citizens of Washington Township and help neighboring communities. Long Valley First Aid Squad has provided 60 years of all-volunteer service, 24/7 Emergency medical care, vehicle and technical rescue services are all done by our volunteers. Funds raised go primarily to equipment and training.

Where:  LVFAS Station 1, 70 East Mill Road, Long Valley
When:  Saturday, October 13, 2018
The 5k Waves will be as follows:

Wave 1: 9:00am-Adults only
Wave 2: 9:30am- Families
Wave 3: 10:00am Walk/Run

Smart911 is a free service that provides emergency responders with pertinent information for 9-1-1 calls.  When calling 9-1-1 from a mobile phone the communications center and emergency responders will have access to address, location, and medical information as well as emergency contacts.  Click here for more information or to subscribe to Smart911.

Valley Restaraunt Fundraiser

The Long Valley First Aid Squad Auxiliary is partnering with the Valley Restaraunt and Pub for a fundraiser on June 7th.  The Valley Restaraunt and Pub will be donating 10% of all food purchases to the LVFAS Auxiliary, mention the fundraiser to your server to have the 10% from your purchase donated.  The LVFAS Auxiliary supports the Squad by purchasing equipment with the proceeds of the various fundraisers they hold througout the year.






Community Night Out 2017

Washington Township Community Night Out will be held at Rock Spring Park on Tuesday, July 18th from 6:00-10:00 PM. As always the Long Valley First Aid Squad will be there with our equipment and will conduct a demonstration with our Jaws of Life.  Additionally, we will have information available for anyone that is interested in joining the Squad.
